ORL\u00c9ANS EXPRESS INTERCITY\nSERVICES WILL GRADUALLY RESUME<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t\n\n\n

Montr\u00e9al, July 9, 2020 \u2013 <\/strong>Keolis\nCanada is announcing that it will be gradually resuming its Orl\u00e9ans Express\nintercity transportation service starting July 10 to meet growing customer\ndemand. A recent survey of Orl\u00e9ans Express passengers revealed their intention\nto use the carrier\u2019s intercity services across Quebec in the coming months. Services\nwill resume starting with the Montr\u00e9al-Qu\u00e9bec City route, while regional routes\nwill resume in a second phase in line with the government\u2019s recent\nannouncement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll\nindicators show that people will be back on the road this summer. This is an\nideal opportunity for vacationers to rediscover the province\u2019s regions, visit\nfamily and friends, and experience new activities. Orl\u00e9ans Express will be\nthere to take passengers safely and comfortably aboard our coaches that will journey\nall across Quebec\u2019s roads this season,\u201d said Pierre-Paul Pharand, President and\nCEO of Keolis Canada. \u201cWe will, of course, implement measures to ensure that\nthe restart goes smoothly and that our service is fully compliant with the\nguidelines issued by Quebec\u2019s public health authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measures in place on coaches<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keolis\nCanada\u2019s goal is to provide passengers with safe, reliable and efficient\ntransportation services. Many measures will therefore be put in place, such as\nsocial distancing on vehicles and at bus stations. Masks will be mandatory for\nall passengers, who must also clean their hands with sanitizer right before\nboarding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is\nimportant to note that, during this transition period, children will not be\nallowed to travel alone, food cannot be consumed on board the coaches,\nwashrooms will not be available, and online payments only will be accepted. Passengers\nwill be asked to put their luggage directly in the bus storage compartment\nthemselves so that it is not handled by anyone else. The coaches will also be\ndisinfected between trips. \u201cWe care about the health and safety of our\ncustomers and of all Keolis Canada employees, and we are asking for everyone\u2019s\nhelp so that all passengers can travel safely and with peace of mind,\u201d added\nMr. Pharand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
